Join us for a weekend at the premiere space science and technology event of the year! Well have speakers, panels, and presenters over a televised livestream all weekend; exhibits, demos, and STEAM activities from museums and educators; and the galaxys biggest hackathon - Bring the whole family!

Sign up to participate in the Space Apps Challenge hackathon (hackathon participants get free food & drink, gifts, free daycare, and festival access all weekend) or just register to be a festival attendee and come for the fun! The International Space Apps Challenge is a worldwide NASA Incubator Innovation program. Grassroots organizers from all across the planet stage a weekend-long hackathon at their local site where teams of technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers, students, and anyone else interested in space exploration can collaborate with their fellow global citizens and utilize publicly available data to design innovative solutions for challenges posed by NASA, other governmental agencies, NGOs, and a variety of institutions.

Basically you get to work directly with NASA to save the world. Pretty cool, huh?

Space Apps NYC is New York Citys Space Apps Challenge site, and has been locally organized by the New York Technology Council and StartupBus NYC since 2012.
